Who we are *

Less stress. More connection. Let’s make your weekend make sense.

At The Wedding Lead, we believe your wedding should feel like the best parts of your relationship—easy, joyful, and completely you. Whether you’re planning a laid-back backyard ceremony or a full weekend with 40 guests in one house, we’re here to keep it flowing and calm behind the scenes.

We specialize in wedding coordination that feels seamless—not stiff. Our role is to take the pressure off you, your partner, and your families, so you can focus on the moments that matter (not the vendor texts or missing candles)

We bring structure without taking over.

We handle the energy, the timing, the little fires—so your people can show up and enjoy the party.

What we’re about:

  • Clear timelines, relaxed mornings

  • Group chats with direction (and fewer questions)

  • Food that doesn’t mysteriously disappear from the fridge

  • Dance floors that end in story-worthy memories

Whether we’re helping your guests settle into a shared Airbnb, running your wedding-day timeline, or organizing the snacks you definitely need post-ceremony—we’ve got your back.

We’re based in Sacramento, but we coordinate anywhere love leads.

Meet the

Founder

Hey, I’m Destin Jones—timeline boss, wedding wrangler, and your calm-in-the-chaos coordinator.

I didn’t start this business with a résumé full of galas—I started it because I watched the people I love get overwhelmed during what should’ve been a really joyful weekend.

At my brother’s wedding, my mom, his bonus mom, and our aunt were running around non-stop—managing food, answering questions, trying to keep the vibe up—when they should’ve been relaxing and enjoying the moment. So I stepped in. Just to help. Just to ease the stress.

By the end of the weekend, everyone was calling me “Sarg”—as in Drill Sergeant—because I kept everything moving and got it all done. And honestly? I loved it.

That weekend made something click:
People need someone who can lead the energy and keep the day flowing without turning it into a production. I realized I could be that person.

I’ve coordinated two weddings (including my brother’s wild, unforgettable weekend), and I’ve run birthday parties that could rival full productions—because when you’re a parent, you learn quickly how to juggle people, timelines, and surprises like a pro.

That’s where The Wedding Lead was born:

In the middle of real life, real emotions, and real celebrations.

I may be early in my business journey, but what I bring is genuine:

  • A sharp eye for details

  • A calm presence in the middle of chaos

  • A deep desire to help people feel supported during one of the biggest weekends of their lives

If you’re looking for someone who’s in it for the people—not the spotlight—I’d love to help run your weekend.

You bring the love. I’ll run the show.
